Jr. High and Sr. High Retreat
What Matters Most | September 30 – October 2 | Camp Chihowa – Lake Lodge
We are poised to be Christ’s hands and feet, reaching out through compassionate ministries that serve the poor and hungry and stop conditions that diminish the worth of persons.
We are going to rock Camp Chihowa this Fall! Come and prepare to have fun, campfire, capture the flag – glow stick style, and learn more about our 2nd Global Mission Initiative! We will not only be learning about what our International church, Mission Center, and Congregations do to fulfill Christ’s Mission of Compassion, but also what we can do ourselves!
Because of travel time, we ask that no teenager come to the retreat after 11:00 PM Friday. We do encourage, because of Friday night school activities teenagers to come Saturday morning. On Sunday, October 2, we will be participating in the Head for the Cure 5K run/walk in Lawrence, KS. (www.headforthecure.org) which benefits brain cancer research. We will all walk (or run if you really want) on Team Natalie!
The cost includes meals, materials, and the registration fee for Head for the Cure. Retreat Cost: $42 until September 15, on September 16 the cost is $46, and on September 30, the cost goes up to $50. Come, have fun, and make one of our Enduring Principals happen!, Come and show your support for Natalie Bender!

Sr. High Bowling
SR. HIGH – Sunday, October 9th we’re bowling after church! Bring $5.00, and we’ll take care of the rest! We’re going to Olathe East Lanes (303 North Lindenwood Drive, Olathe, KS). We plan to be there for two hours – depending on how long the games are. Sign up on the Youth board to RSVP.

Cherub Chums
Do you have kids in grades K – 12? That’s right, kindergarten! The Youth team is excited to announce the addition of a new group this year for kindergarten through 2nd grade – the Cherub Chums!
