Crafts/Science: We need 4 teachers (each one would teach either crafts or science with experiments for one night at VBS)
Praise Band: We need members!!!!

Donations: We would love to use any beach items you have!  We are looking for surf boards, blowup rafts, inner tubes, life jackets, beach umbrellas, kid pools, beach chairs, swimsuits, towels, flip flops, etc. Please put your name on your items and bring them to church by Sunday, June 2nd.  You can pick your items up after church Sunday, June 9th.

Special Scripture Class: Community of Christ Temple School Course Introduction to Scripture.  We will be using the video series by Tony and Charmaine Chvala-Smith.  Shane and Alli will be facilitating the course.  It is an 8-session course that defines and explores the nature of scripture in the life of the church and helps us understand genre, literary context; and historical and cultural context.  It will help guide in the responsible use of the Old Testament and dealing with difficult text, provides a sample small-group Bible study; and explores the function of lectionary in sacraments, preaching and teaching.
